Few hours left before the transfer window finally closes this summer
After securing two major signings (Giorgi Mamardashvili and Federico Chiesa) this summer Liverpool could see a number of their underprivileged stars leave on loan before 11 pm tonight.
One player whose loan move has caught the attention of the club's players recently is Calum Scanlon. The young left-back has secured a loan move to Championship club Millwall for the rest of the season.
As news of the youngster departure broke, several Liverpool senior stars took to Instagram to share their thoughts and well wishes.
Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo wrote 'good luck '
Bobby Clark: Let's go brother.
Kaide Gordon reacted: [flames]
For Scanlon, this loan move represents a significant step in his career. Leaving the club as an academy graduate, it will allow him to test himself in a more challenging role and gain valuable experience and playing time. The experience he gains during his loan spell will undoubtedly foster his growth as a player and bring him closer to achieving his goal of becoming a first-team regular at Liverpool.
Best of luck Calum Scanlon!😊
