From various outlets in Europe, Liverpool pose threat to PSG for Kylian Mbappe
It's the January transfer window and it wouldn't be this far away without rumors of Kylian Mbappe heading to Liverpool.
This time it's actually from French outlet La Parisien.
According to their information, Liverpool are the "most credible and dangerous" candidates to PSG who want to extend Mbappe's contract.
Earlier on it was reported that Mbappe can start negotiating pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs as he on his final 6 months of his PSG contract. Le Parisien claim the French star is not opposed to a move to the Premier League and the Reds believe Mbappe is the type of signing they need to challenge Manchester City.
Furthermore reports in Spain say Liverpool are contenders in the race to land Kylian Mbappe if he leaves Paris.
AS provides an update on Real Madrid's stance. The Spanish giants have long been mentioned as a possible destination and nothing has changed, but they believe Liverpool should not be left out of the race entirely.
They also said Real Madrid are not prepared to wait until the summer to make a decision on Mbappe and wanted to confirm the deal before his contract expires. This could be a possible boost for Liverpool if Real Madrid pull out of the competition.
