Liverpool have once again been linked with Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha
Liverpool have been monitoring the 28-year-old defensive midfielder for some time and were tipped to land him during the summer following the departure of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson.
However at that time the Reds opted to sign Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo.
Now according to reports, the Anfield club's interest in Palhinha has been rekindled and led to serious discussions with his representatives. Other clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United, have also reportedly been in talks with Palhinha's representatives.
Recent reports have indicated that Palhinha could be exploring a potential move away from Fulham in the January transfer window. And while he continues to be contacted by other Premier League bigwigs, it remains to be seen whether Liverpool can be successful in their pursuit.
