Mohamed Salah's link with Al-Ittihad is a no go back for the Egyptian according to reports from the middle east
Liverpool's star forward Mohamed Salah has reportedly already agreed to a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.
The Arabian club is said to be interested in a blockbuster deal and is willing to offer the money necessary to lure the Egyptian away from Anfield. While Liverpool has stated that Salah is not for sale this summer, one source has stated that Salah has taken an offer from the gulf state.
Earlier in the summer, Al-Ittihad was reportedly willing to pay Salah around £77 million a year to join their team. Despite Liverpool's steadfast stance that Salah won't be leaving the club, Al Jazeera Sports suggest that the player is keen to make the move to Al-Ittihad.
If Salah's reported decision to accept an offer from Al-Ittihad is true, it will be a significant development in the world of football. The club is said to be offering the two-time Africa footballer of the year a salary package on par with that earned by Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr and Neymar.
While Liverpool will reject any offers for their starman, according to sources, it remains to be seen whether the club will be able to convince him to stay put. However, Salah's move to Al-Ittihad would be a major coup for the gulf state club and could potentially change the balance of power in the Saudi Arabian league.
Al-Ittihad is managed by former Benfica and Sporting Lisbon coach Pedro Martins and have already signed Fabinho from Anfield during the transfer window.
Salah's move to Al-Ittihad would be a significant loss for the Reds, as he has been a crucial part of the team's success in recent years. However, if the deal goes through, it could be a major boost for Al-Ittihad, as they look to compete with other top teams in the region.
