Liverpool have 'strong' interest in Manchester City linked Dani Olmo
Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Dani Olmo, a creative midfielder who has been likened to Spanish legend Andres Iniesta.
Olmo currently plays for RB Leipzig and has been in impressive form for both club and country. The 23-year-old began his career at Barcelona's famous La Masia academy before moving to Dinamo Zagreb, where he developed his skills and became a top player.
Olmo recently drew the attention of the football world after netting a hat-trick against Bayern Munich in the Super Cup on August 12.
The Reds's interest in the 25-year-old is not surprising, given their need for a creative midfielder to bolster their squad. His potential arrival at Liverpool would have a significant impact on the team's midfield.
Olmo has been praised for his vision, dribbling skills, and ability to create scoring opportunities for his teammates.
Liverpool's midfield has lacked creativity in recent seasons, and the Spaniard's arrival would provide a much-needed spark in that area of the pitch. He would also offer depth to Jurgen Klopp's squad, which is vital for the team competing in multiple competitions.
While Olmo's reported Merseyside suitors have not yet made an official bid, the report suggests that the club is seriously considering a move for the talented midfielder.
Given the player's potential and Liverpool's need for a creative midfielder, it would be a wise move for the club to pursue him before the closure of the transfer window. They will however face competition from Manchester City who recently have been touted with a move for the Spain international.
