Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma

Liverpool have been linked with Mitoma in a recent report, with the Anfield club reportedly impressed by his performances in his season showings for Brighton. However, there has been no official confirmation of any interest from Liverpool.
It remains to be seen whether the Japanese would prefer a move to Liverpool alongside Alexis Mac Allister or if he will remain at Brighton to continue his impressive form under the Seagulls.
Kaoru Mitoma, 25, joined Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2021 from Kawasaki Frontale and he has added to his name a total of 7 assists and 10 goals in all competitions this season, one of them coming against Jurgen Klopp's men in the FA Cup fourth round where the Reds were knocked out by the Seagulls.
The acquisition of Mitoma may likely be the business Jurgen Klopp needs to secure to add to his forward ranks when Coady Gakpo and Darwin Nunez permanently fill in the void that'll be left by Roberto Firmino when the Brazilian finally part ways with Liverpool at the end of the season.
