Ajax defender Jurrien Timber continues to be linked with a move to Anfield

It has been reported that the girlfriend of Jurrien Timber is in Merseyside for a house hunt amid a potential transfer of his partner to Liverpool.

A TV host on the Dutch television program Veronica Offside, Wilfred Genee, said on Monday: "It seems that his girlfriend is looking for a house in Liverpool. She is also busy with it, so she will probably leave soon."

Liverpool are expected to be in the market for a new defender this summer with the squad overhauling on the cards.
