Liverpool are being linked with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following his break out season at Napoli
Kvicha Kvaratskhelia's agent has revealed there is no rush to extend his client's contract at Napoli amid Liverpool links.
Kvaratskhelia is enjoying a fantastic breakout season in the Serie A following his move from Dynamo Batumi in the summer. He has scored 10 goals and made 10 assists in 20 Series A appearances as Luciano Spalletti's side lead the way with 18 points.
After an explosive start to his career in Italy, he has attracted interest from a number of clubs and his name has been called into question for a move to Anfield.
The Reds have seen his quality first hand, as he proved a formidable opponent in Napoli's Champions League group stage clash with Liverpool - including their opener where they won 4-1.
Kvaratskhelia still has four years left on his Napoli contract but there are already talks about a renewal which would benefit Gli Azzurri in negotiations over a possible departure.
However, his agent Mamuka Jugheli has admitted that there is no rush to renew, while revealing that the Georgian "likes" Real Madrid
"Giuntoli told me there is no rush (for renewal). We are not in a hurry either," he said speaking to Geo Team . "Khvicha likes everything about Naples and for the moment there is nothing.
"If we decide something, Giuntoli will be the first to know. We had a friendly conversation, he asked me about other potential Georgian footballers and he was interested in our country's football.
“His father and I are Barca fans, but Kvara loves Real Madrid. If I see him in a Barca shirt I'll be happy, but he's Madridista. Napoli director asks me not to be in a hurry — Kvara likes everything in Napoli."
A move to Liverpool is also a possibility for having had Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp raved about him following their two-legged Champions League meetings.
Klopp said of the 22-year-old: "He is a good player, both are good players. It was a really difficult one. I know people will talk about one or two situations with Trent when he tried to get in front of him and the ball goes through.
"He is really good, the boy. Really quick, we have to defend it well together in these moments. When he has the advantage of the first moment, then he is already gone.
"You have to try to be there in the moment when the ball arrives. If you cannot to do that, you need to be protected because he has speed. He is cheeky, he can go inside, he goes outside, that always makes him difficult. A good player."
