Sadio Mane has returned to training with Bayern Munich after more than two months out with a leg injury
The ex Liverpool forward suffered a right fibula injury in Bayern's league game against Werder Bremen on November 8, a setback that meant he missed out on the World Cup for Senegal.
Mane underwent surgery and has not played since then, but his recovery is actually progressing.
Mane's return is a welcome boost for Bayern, who have not had an easy run in the league so far this season.
The German champions fared much better in the Champions League than at home, winning all six of their group games and advancing to the knockout rounds.
However, they faced a tough round in the round of 16 after being paired with French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
It promises to be an exciting clash between the two of Europe's best teams, and Mane could be aiming for a comeback in time for the first leg.
