FSG have made a decision in the sale of Liverpool to a Middle Eastern gulf nation
It's been gathered that talks between Manchester United and Qatar is ongoing for a full takeover of the Manchester club. The gulf state had shown the same interest in the take-over of Liverpool however FSG would only agree to a partial investment and not a full stake.
It's also gathered lately that the Liverpool owners are determined to welcome outside investments into the club but only from a country outside the middle east. A report from the Echo stated that Fenway Sports Group will maintain their reputation as they target investors other than striking a deal with 'a country with a terrible human rights record.'
While talks to takeover Manchester United are ongoing some Liverpool fans would appreciate FSG's arrogance to decline Qatar. However, it's evident others would prefer to witness the benignant spending habit known to middle eastern owners.
