Liverpool are reportedly permitted to negotiate a deal for German goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler
The Reds were reported to be interested in signing the Hannover goalkeeper in November, this was attributed to the fact that he is considered a homegrown player despite he spent time in Manchester United's youth system as a youngster.
Out of contract in the summer, Bild have reported that Liverpool can now discuss a contract with the goalkeeper, Klopp is reportedly interested in signing him.
Hannover have the capacity to extend the player's contract for a year, this would become effective once he reaches 25 appearances this season. He is currently on 17.
The report states that Zieler and his representatives were disappointed that Hannover hadn't extended him for a longer period, Zieler believed he deserved this.
