Liverpool rewarded Stefan Bajcetic with a new long-term contract
Spanish teenager Stefan Bajcetic has agreed a new five-year contract with Liverpool, just five days after making his first start in the Premier League.
The teenager has agreed a new contract that will run until 2027,
Bajcetic has been promising since breaking into the senior ranks this season, he participated in the match against Chelsea on Saturday that was played at Anfield and has played in 10 matches in all competitions so far.
The teenager also netted his first senior goal in the 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Boxing Day, and he had an impressive outing in the FA Cup third round replay against Wolves.
Bajcetic's rise in the Reds' ranks has led him to compete for a central midfield position with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho recently, his energy and aggression in the role has been beneficial to Klopp, with several of his older colleagues struggling for form this season.
