There are just over two weeks until the transfer window opens.
Both midfielders are prime targets for the Reds as they look to strengthen their midfield for the second half of the season.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Dortmund star Bellingham's value has soared to £130 million, while Benfica's asking price for Fernanez is £86.5 million.
Fernandez is being viewed as an alternative for Jude Bellingham should the Reds fail to meet the midfielder's valuation.
Fernandez who currently plays for Argentina in the world cup play as a central midfielder. Aged 21, he has a contract with Benfica that runs until the summer of 2027.
