Liverpool are reportedly closing in on two midfield players after they successfully secured the service of Cody Gakpo
PSV confirmed the transfer of Gakpo to Liverpool hours ago after a deal worth £45million was agreed with the Reds for the player's departure.
Following news of Gakpo, a report has emerged that Liverpool are in advance talks with Fiorentina to sign Sofyan Amrabat. It also claims that the Anfield club are in discussion for Eljif Elmas with Napoli, and negotiations are advancing well.
Amrabat caught the attention of the Reds after his attractive display in a record breaking World Cup campaign for Morocco in Qatar. The 25-year-old is said to be valued at €45m by Fiorentina.
A Tweet from Turkish journalist Ahmet Ercanlar linking the Macedonian midfielder with the Reds reads: "Jurgen Klopp called Eljif Elmas and said he wanted to see him in Liverpool. If this transfer happens, Fenerbahce will also get a share."
