Jamie Carragher is backing a Champions League round of 16 match against Porto as the ideal draw for the Reds

Liverpool advanced to the knockout stages of the Champions League with a 3-0 win over Ajax last week, but Jurgen Klopp's side were unable to catch up with four goals to finish top in Group A despite Tuesday's fifth consecutive group win over Napoli.
There is no doubt that Reds fans will want to avoid a repeat of last season's final against Madrid, and a draw with Bayern Munich will bring the same pessimism - not least because of the return of Sadio Mane, who was sold and flew last summer to Germany.
Former Liverpool captain Carragher believes the Reds' recent victory over Porto will give them a "psychological advantage" after the Portuguese club finalized their place on Wednesday night.
I would want Liverpool to play Porto", said the former Liverpool defender.
"We’ve played them a few times in the past and I think psychologically we always seem to have the edge on them.
"I think Liverpool will be a difficult proposition for anybody after christmas. They're not at the races right now but I think we'll see Liverpool back to their best.
