Liverpool are reportedly linked with one of Germany's finest goalkeeping prospects Patrick Drews
Patrick Drews has sidestepped questions about his near-term future after becoming a potential signing for Liverpool.
Drews, who currently plays for Bundesliga club SV Sandhausen, is considered a goalkeeper
Jurgen Klopp is reportedly trying to sign to create depth and competition behind Alisson Becker.
Caoimhin Kelleher and Adrian currently occupy this position behind the Brazilian, but the latter is 35 and heading into the fall of his career - his contract expires next summer - while Kelleher, 24, is looking elsewhere for a regular first-team team football.
Several Bundesliga teams are also said to be interested in the man, who was named the Bundesliga 2 best goalkeeper last season.
But when asked about interest from Liverpool and other clubs by The Weser Kurier, Drews bluntly replied: "I don't want to comment on that".
