It's good news for the Liverpool new signing.
The young 19-year-old full-back, who could make Reds starting XI against Derby County tonight, has been called up to the Scotland national team for next week's international friendly against Turkey.
Ramsay joined Liverpool from Aberdeen in the summer and made his first substitute appearance against Napoli last week.
Now, the Scottish football writer's young player of the season has his first international call.
Scotland will play a friendly in Australia during the World Cup off-season.
