The Reds continue preparations for the Sunday Premier League clash with the reigning Champions
Players from both youth and senior ranks came together for a training session on Friday afternoon ahead of the Sunday massive clash.
They will welcome City to Anfield, aiming to close a 13-point gap, with Jurgen Klopp's side winning just two of their first eight Premier League games - their worst start in a decade.
Klopp hinted at his pre-match press conference on Friday morning that he was still waiting to find out who came scathed in Wednesday's victory at Ibrox, while Konate's apparent absence from the Kirkby training was the only one of the 20 in that matchday squad.
Liverpool hope potential problems won't prevent the centre-back from playing alongside Virgil van Dijk on Sunday, with Joe Gomez already fit at right-back and Joel Matip injured
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Curtis Jones were the new returnee spotted during the Friday training. They continued their rehabilitation on the pitch, while some U21s were also part of the exercise.
