Declan Rice claims West Ham's failure to secure a point against Liverpool made him 'sick' and believes his side are showing they can compete with the bigger teams.
The Hammers missed a glorious chance in the second half when a key block from James Milner prevented Thomas Suchek from levelling Darwin Nunez's opener three minutes before full time.
After the game, England international Rice who's also being touted with a transfer to Liverpool said: "I feel sick, I honestly feel sick. We know it is a tough place to come, you have to show grit, heart and desire.
"There was enough in the second half to nick something from the game. We are showing signs we can compete with the big boys.
"To show the courage we did in the second half, dominating the ball and creating chances, I'm proud of everyone. I'm just gutted we couldn't get something from the game like we should have."
