Lfc Rumour understands that there is a clause tied to the player's loan that offers the Reds the option to buy him permanently next summer.
The Reds are given the chance to pay a fee around £30m - within two years for the player.
A transfer update shared by Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Arthur has agreed a deal in principle with Liverpool on personal terms should they sign him next season.
Arthur is not far away from making his first Liverpool appearance this week, when Liverpool visit Napoli for Wednesday Champions League opener as both sides lock horns once again after two years.
