According to reports, Liverpool are said to be 'closely monitoring' Inter Milan and Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic
Following the hamstring injury Thiago Alcantara suffered at Fulham last weekend, which is expected to keep him sidelined for a month, speculation linking the Reds with a move for a midfielder has increased ten-fold, despite Jurgen Klopp all ruling out a knee-jerk reaction to the Spaniard's absence earlier this week.
However, Fichajes are reporting that Liverpool are ready to make a swoop for Brozovic, with the Reds said to be ready to offer the 29-year-old a two-year contract with the option of a further year.
The midfielder signed a new four-year contract with Inter Milan earlier this year.
