James Milner is backing summer signing Darwin Nunez to make an instant and long-standing impact at Liverpool
The 23-year-old who arrived at Anfield earlier this summer for an initial £64million, scored in the Community Shield final and last weekend's Premier League opening day draw at Fulham.
Milner who made only a substitute appearance at the Craven Cottage believes he's seen enough during training to back a long and successful spell for the Uruguayan.
The veteran midfielder told Liverpool official website: "I think he'll have an impact the whole time he's here, to be honest.
"Since he's been here, he's [been] impressive on the field, worked hard, makes great runs [and] is desperate to put his head on the ball in the box.
"If you put a ball in there, he'll do everything he can to get on the end of it – good finisher, both feet and he's different to the other boys up there."
