Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool target Frenkie de Jong want to take a pay cut to remain at Barcelona
Frenkie de Jong is a reported target for Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool |
The Dutchman is now confident of staying at FC Barcelona and is willing to negotiate a pay cut in return.
De Jong was bought from Ajax for 75 million euros by Barca in 2019, but he has been at the center of one of the biggest transfer markets this summer.
According to reports, Manchester United agreed a €85million deal with Barcelona in mid-July for the 25-year-old midfielder.
With the Premier League side lacking Champions League football, De Jong turned down the Red Devils, despite now being coached by his former Ajax boss Eric Ten Haag.
