Three players have returned to training ahead of Liverpool's Wednesday night Premier League match against Newcastle

On Monday afternoon, After recovering from a muscle strain, Joel Matip was pictured at the AXA training center in Kirkby. He participated in sessions and exercises with the main group and it appears the 31-year-old is ready to play soon.
Another player spotted was Curtis Jones. The young Liverpool midfielder has been on sidelines for over a week after he suffered a calf injury in the Reds community Shield win over Manchester City.
19-year-old right-back Calvin Ramsay recently finished his rehab after a minor issue was found in his medical assessment. The new signing has since resumed some form of training and was in the in background on Monday's session.
Ramsey joined Liverpool from Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League this summer. He will provide additional competition and backup for regular right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
