Liverpool had reportedly expressed an interest in Paredes amid the injury problems they currently faced with in their midfield. The Reds were reportedly preparing a swap deal that would see Roberto Firmino join Paris Saint-Germain - to land their target.
They also reportedly have a £20m fee on table for the Argentine midfielder who has struggled for regular playtime at the French capital.
