Sporting CP receive Liverpool bid as deal looks likely

Personal terms have been agreed and Liverpool have submitted an offer for Sporting midfielder Matheus Nunes, according to a report

The Portuguese midfielder now look on the move to Anfield if latest reports are to be believed.

Liverpool have been linked with Nunes this summer and the Merseyside club have cooled down their pursuit of Dortmund's starlet Jude Bellingham in order to focus on the Premeira Liga star.

After unveiling personal talks with Nunes agent Jorge Mendes some days ago, a report from Portugal now claims the Reds have offered a €48million fee for the 23-year-old.

Nunes is the player Jurgen Klopp is eagerly looking at signing before the end of the transfer window, it's understood.
