Despite having a plethora of midfield options in their side, Liverpool have been linked with signing a new man in the centre of the park this summer
Following their Premier League and Champions League heartbreak last season , Liverpool were close to sealing the signature of Aurelien Tchouameni before the French midfielder opted for Real Madrid.
While the Reds continued to be linked with a move for England sensation Jude Bellingham, whom they are expected to go for next year, Jurgen Kopp has insists that he's of no need of a new midfielder this summer.
Speaking after Tuesday’s pre-season lost to Manchester United, Klopp said: "There is no need for a new midfielder. We cannot just add on midfielders. We respect the contracts with our boys as well, that means as long as we signed them they get all our support – in training, between the sessions, during the games and between the games."
