Liverpool target agrees personal terms

Liverpool target Christopher Nkunku has signed a two-year contract extension with RB Leipzig

The French forward was linked with a number of clubs this summer, including the Reds and Premier League rivals Chelsea.

However, he's now set to remain in the Bundesliga with a new contract until 2026, which reportedly includes a €60m release clause.

Nkunku was suggested as the ideal player Jurgen Klopp would need to fill-in Sadio Mane's role before the Anfield club opted to signed Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez.

Nunez, however does not play from flanks and that leaves Luis Diaz as the man already tipped for the job.
