Liverpool have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay
Ramsay has been a reported target for the Reds over the duration of the summer so far, with Jurgen Klopp seeking a deputy for Trent Alexander Arnold.
The Reds have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of the young Scotland full-back and is on course to be their third signing of the summer.
The Merseyside club who have been in negotiations with Aberdeen for weeks, will pay an initial £4million with a further £2.5m in bonuses for the 18-yea-old.
Ramsay was named Scotland’s Young Player of the Year last month.
He is expected to be given permission to travel to Merseyside in the next 24 hours to begin a medical and, providing there are no unforeseen circumstances, he will report from pre-season training in July.
