Thiago Alcantara was forced off in Liverpool's 3-1 win at home to Wolves on Sunday
Liverpool could be without Thiago Alcantara in the Champions League final against Real Madrid |
The 31-year-old had been excellent, for the Reds, assisting Sadio Mane's equaliser before limping off the pitch.
He was replaced by James Milner at half-time and emerged from the dressing room 20 minutes into the second period.
Thiago was wearing tracksuit pants and it was clear to see he had a major strapping on his right thigh.
Jurgen Klopp was reluctant to go into detail about the nature of of the midfielder's injury. And as it stands, the Spaniard is a doubt for Saturday's Champions League final in Paris.
"The lower part of the body! I know it but I don't want to talk now about it actually," Klopp said after the game.
"We will see. Give us a chance. It makes the news not better or worse.
"We want to wait until we know more about it and then you will get the information as well."
