Mohamed Salah has said he wants to play Real Madrid in the Champions League final
Mohamed Salah celebrates as Liverpool through to the Champions League final in Paris |
It was another memorable night for Liverpool in the Champions League as they beat Villarreal 5-2 on aggregate to reach the competition's final.
The Reds conducted a breathtaking comeback in the second half of the showdown, with Villarreal having levelled 2-2 in the first half.
Salah was involved in the Reds formidable offense that set the prize on sight for the Merseysiders.
However, saying it's going to be an easy game when they face Manchester City in the final wasn't an easy-peasy talk for the Egyptian as he hopes Real Madrid wins the entry to Paris.
Manchester City lead Madrid 4-3 ahead of tonight's semifinal second leg clash in the Spanish capital.
Salah believes Madrid progressing to the final would give Liverpool the chance to revenge a loss in the competition final back in 2018.
Speaking after the 3-2 win, Salah said: "I want to play Madrid.
"I have to be honest. City is a really tough team, we play against them a few times this season. But if you ask me personally I would prefer Madrid."
