Andreas Christensen made himself unavailable for the FA Cup final with Liverpool on Saturday
Liverpool won their eighth FA Cup thanks to a penalty shootout victory over Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. The match finished goalless after extra time, with Kostas Tsimikas scoring the winning spot-kick.
For Chelsea, it is their second defeat to Liverpool at Wembley in two cup finals this season.
Kepa Arrizabalaga skied his spot-kick to consequently crown the Reds Carabao Cup champions in February, nevertheless the Blues saw another shock when they discovered Andreas Christensen disappeared from the team hotel on Saturday morning ahead of their FA Cup final clash with Liverpool.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel had decide not to play young full-back Trevoh Chalobah but later opted and it caused a last minute change and disruption to the Blues plans.

The defender informed Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel on the morning of the game of his intention not to play against Liverpool, despite originally being pencilled in to start. It is said that he was not injured, with the decision leaving his team-mates "stunned" over the situation.
The Denmark international complained of feeling unwell during the week.
He joined the Blues squad for the short trip to Wembley but Tuchel clearly decided against it , granting the bound to be free agent his request to stay sidelines.
