Divock Origi celebrates FA Cup final win with Liverpool |
The Belgium international watched Liverpool's Champions League final defeat to Real from the sidelines due to injury.
He is now expected to join Serie A champions AC Milan this summer after agreeing personal terms with the Italian giants.
Origi has become a fans' favourite since arriving at Anfield in 2014, and has admitted he will be sad to move on, but has suggested that it is time for him to seek a new challenge.
"I will miss these boys a lot,' Origi said as Liverpool celebrated this season's Carabao Cup and FA Cup triumphs.
"I have been here eight years, but I feel my purpose is done."
Origi is s adamant that Liverpool will bounce back, after a disappointing final week of the season where Manchester City pipped them to the Premier League title, before Real Madrid beat them 1-0 in the Champions League final on Saturday.
"The club is in safe hands. There is so much still to come from this team," he added.
