Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has spoken about the latest speculation that Mohamed Salah will put pen to paper for a £400k weekly wages at Anfield
Salah's future became the subject of fierce speculation after the Daily Mirror reported last week that the Egyptian is set to accept new terms worth £400000/week with the Reds having thus far failed to reach an agreement with less than 15 months remaining on his present deal.
Klopp is aware of speculation going round in recent days and has hinted there's a little bit of truth as he admits he is pleased discussions remain ongoing with both the manager and player keen for an extension to be negotiated.
"I am happy with it because there's nothing new to say, that's good," the Reds boss said on Monday, speaking ahead of Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Benfica.
"Just good. The decisive parties are talking to each other and that's all I need. That's it."
