Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has named Barcelona as one of his 'other favourite teams'
The Liverpool academy graduate has spent his entire career so far at Anfield and already has over 200 senior appearances under his belt, despite being just 23 years of age.
He has quickly established himself as one of the best right-backs in the game and has earned plenty of admirers from clubs across Europe. Alexander-Arnold, a boyhood Red, also has a soft spot for Barcelona and says they have 'similar ideas and values' to Liverpool.
"I would say that my other favourite team is Barcelona," he told British GQ .
"I feel that they have the same ideas and values as Liverpool. They like to bring players through the academy.
"I grew up watching [Lionel] Messi and that special Barcelona team with [Andres] Iniesta, Xavi [Hernandez], [Thierry] Henry and [Samuel] Eto'o."
