Eurico Gomes doesn't think Porto have made a good business out of the £37.5m sale of Luis Diaz to Liverpool
Diaz finally arrived Merseyside on Friday afternoon after a deal was struck between the two sides for his £37.5million transfer - a deal that could rise to £50million.
The signing is considered a good bit of business for the Reds but seems not everyone is happy about it, chiefly from the other end.
Former Porto star Eurico Gomes believes there was only one real winner in the business that has been done.
"It was not a good deal," he said. "Porto don’t find themselves in a comfortable financial situation, but the truth is that Liverpool got Diaz for a bargain price."
Diaz has signed a long-term deal that runs until 2027 and he will now join up with his new teammates for the remainder of the season.
