Aston Villa and Newcastle are likely to be 'at the front of the queue' to secure the services of Joe Gomez
That's according to the Athletic , who add that there is a strong chance other sides will also express an interest in the Liverpool defender.
Gomez has two years remaining on his deal at the club and may well explore opportunites away from Anfield in search of regular game time.
The 24-year-old made his first Premier League start since November 2020 when featuring against Norwich last weekend.
