Jarrod Bowen would be the 'ideal' Mohamed Salah replacement should the Egyptian leave Anfield
That's according to former Ireland international and now talk Sports pundit Tony Cascarino who believes Bowen has all the qualities of a Jurgen Klopp player.
Cascarino explained why he wants Liverpool to bring the West Ham wing player to Anfield should Salah depart.
"I actually thought, if we lost Mo Salah, who could we logically go after?" he said.
"Well, the lad Bowen at West Ham ticks all those boxes. He's tenacious, he chases everything and is decent technically, but not extraordinary.
"I keep thinking who would fit into that Liverpool frontline because Klopp loves those kinds of players in wide areas, who will chase and hassle players. He does all the ugly things for his team, and will always get chances.
"Klopp seems to love players that are really tenacious who will never give up and will chase.
"They don't have to be technically absolutely brilliant, because Mane’s not, they're good, but they’re not technical geniuses like when you look at Bernardo Silva, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.
"They're not like that, but they're all tenacious, he really loves that."
