Barcelona have 'last attempt' to stop Ousmane Dembele from joining Liverpool in January or leave the club for free next summer
There has been a reported update on Ousmane Dembele amid apparent interest from Liverpool.
The Reds have been frequently linked with the Barcelona forward, whose contract runs out at the end of the season.
According to Spanish news outlet Sport , the La Liga club have made a fresh attempt to convince Dembele to stay at the Nou Camp and fend off interest from the Anfield club.
The report adds that Dembele has had plenty of offers from clubs wishing to sign him as a free agent next summer, and Barcelona are keen to prevent that from happening.
Liverpool are understood to be frontrunners to land Dembele in the January transfer window as they plan reinforcements, with Mane and Salah bound to leave for the AFCON tournament.
