And now, One of the clubs said to be a loan 'option' for the former Liverpool man are Arsenal, who will be targeting a top-six finish this term after back-to-back eighth-placed finishes.
Mikel Arteta was asked about the possibility of recruiting Wijnaldum in Janaury, though was not keen to provide a clear verdict on the matter.
"We're not going to discuss any player that is not an Arsenal player," he told reporters.
