Manchester City have reportedly issued a defiant stance on Raheem Sterling’s future amid reports of a return to Liverpool
Reports in recent weeks have linked Sterling with a return to Anfield, after not featuring as much for Pep Guardiola’s side as in previous seasons.
However, according to The Mirror , Man City will not allow Sterling to leave either on loan or on a permanent basis until the summer and only if they can bring in a replacement.
Barcelona have also been linked with a move for Sterling, with new manager Xavi said to be an admirer of the former Liverpool forward.
