Bobby Clark is understood to be on Merseyside ahead of a transfer to Liverpool from Newcastle United
Liverpool are close to sealing the signing of young Newcastle United winger Bobby Clark.
It is understood Bobby is now on Merseyside ahead of the switch being completed after terms were agreed in the closing of last month.
Bobby, 16, is the son of Magpies legend Lee Clark.
The Newcastle Chronicle claims that the youngster is "held in high regard" by the Magpies.
Back in 2019, the paper reported that Clark was "regarded as one of the most promising youngsters in the club's youth system."
Reports in the national press had suggested Spurs were one of several other teams keen on the starlet - with Chelsea, both Manchester sides and Bayern Munich all cited as holding an interest.
Bobby, 16, is set to join up with Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's u18s at the Academy once his Liverpool career begins.
