Liverpool are ready to enter talks over a new contract for goalkeeper Alisson Becker
According to BBC Sport, negotiations with the Brazilian will get underway as soon as he returns to the club for pre-season, with the 28-year-old currently away on international duty ahead of the Copa America tournament.
Alisson initially joined Liverpool from Roma in a £66.8m deal, making him the world's most expensive goalkeeper until Chelsea signed Kepa Arrizabalaga later in the same transfer window.
He has already enjoyed a fruitful career at Anfield, helping his side claim a Champions League and Premier League title.
Fans will never forget how crucial he proved to be in securing European qualification for the club at the end of last season, with a dramatic late winner against West Brom, which was named the LFC goal of the season.
