Jamie Carragher aimed a cheeky jab at Gary Neville on social media on Thursday night
Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher aimed a tongue-in-cheek jab at Gary Neville after the Reds beat Manchester United on Thursday night.
Liverpool came away from Old Trafford as 4-2 winners in a massive win for Jurgen Klopp's side.
The Reds have a realistic chance of finishing in the top four and qualifying for the Champions League this season.
They have endured a torrid campaign so far, but appear to have rallied late to give themselves a chance.
Their thrilling win over United at Old Trafford left them four points behind Chelsea with a game in hand.
United rested players for Tuesday's game against Leicester in order to name a full strength side against Liverpool, but were second-best against the defeated champions.
And after the game, Carragher aimed a cheeky jab at his Sky Sports co-pundit.
The Reds hero dug up one of Neville's old tweets from January, in which he mocked Liverpool likely missing out on the Champions League.
Neville wrote: "Football on Thursday Nights aint that bad" along with an emoji of a man holding up his hands.
And Carragher chose his moment to reply, and wrote: "There's always a tweet! #MANLIV"
