Borussia Dortmund gives Liverpool greenlight as FSG boasts of signing Jadon Sancho

Liverpool have reportedly been boosted to complete a deal for Borrusia Dortmund's forward Jadon Sancho

The Reds continue to be linked with a move for Jadon Sancho even as they face up to the possibility of missing out on next season's Champions League and continue to struggle with the financial ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Reds' interest in the England international pre-dates his time at Borussia Dortmund after all and with the 21-year-old having a gentlemen's agreement to leave the Bundesliga club this summer, it is no surprise to see their name touted as potential suitors.

And now according to German outlet Sport1, Dortmund have internally agreed to decrease their price tag this year to the region of €85-90m, due to the financial losses the club has suffered throughout the pandemic.

However, it's added, that any deal will once again have to be completed prior to the start of Dortmund's pre-season training camp, which is expected to begin at the end of July.
