Adrian has issued a rallying cry to his Liverpool team-mates ahead of Anfield showdown with Real Madrid
The goalkeeper has cried out for the optimism of his Liverpool teammates believing they have 'overcome worse' ahead of the Wednesday's night return leg of the Champions League quarter-final clash with the Los Blancos.
The first leg, played last week, saw Jurgen Klopp's men trailing Real with two goals on aggregate after a brace from Vinicius Junior, either side of a goal from Marco Asensio, handed the European giants a 3-1 victory.
Despite the disappointing defeat at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano , a 2-0 win for Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday would secure their passage into the final four and the Reds are no strangers to staging European comebacks at Anfield.
Adrian has revealed that his Liverpool colleagues have the belief another comeback can be completed.
He said: "Of course there is faith. We have overcome worse at Anfield.
"It is true everything is in favour of Real Madrid, but we are going to try. I think we will give a much better performance than in Madrid."
