Liverpool bid rejected for promising full-back

Liverpool have seen their £17m offer for Torino's Wilfried singo rejected

The Reds tabled a bid of 17million to sign the uncapped Ivorian left-back after an excellent breakthrough season with Torino but have seen that offer rejected , according to TuttoSport.

The Boot Room cite the Italian outlet as making the claim and their article states:

"Singo, 20, has starred for Torino in the top tier of Italian football this season – having only made seven appearances at senior level for the club before the 2020-21 campaign. He has played 23 times this season in all competitions.

His blistering pace and versatility – which allows him to play as a right-back or a right-winger – has caught the eye among talent spotters at Liverpool. So much so, that Liverpool have made an offer the sign the uncapped Ivorian.

That fee is believed to be in the region of £17million, but the Reds have seen that offer return – with Torino either holding out for more, or looking to keep Singo at the club. He has two years remaining on his Torino contract."
