Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala
According to former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson, Dybala would be a "phenomenal" replacement for Roberto Firmino at Liverpool.
The 27-year-old who enters into the final 12 months of his contract this summer, has produced three goals and two assists in 16 appearances across all competitions for Juve this term while managing 14 goals and eight assists through the entirety of the previous campaign.
Back in 2017/18 Dybala produced a sensational 23 goals and five assists in just 34 starts - with any potential suitor hoping he can return to his best.
Juventus are reportedly set to demand a fee in the region of €70m for the Argentine star man this summer.
But it has been gathered that Liverpool will face strong competition from Sevilla, Chelsea and Tottenham.
And now former England international goalkeeper Paul Robinson has urged the Reds not to miss out, believing a move to Anfield will be more favourable to the 'world-class forward' who can replace Roberto Firmino in his striking role.
"Dybala is a world-class player, what a signing he would be," Robinson told Football Insider . "He would be a massive addition to any squad.
"It is very hard to find players who can join or disrupt Liverpool's front three.
"They have misfired this year but [Diogo] Jota has come in and has forced Jurgen Klopp’s hand into playing all four of them at times.
"The front three are not invincible, they have been nowhere near the level of performance of previous years so someone like Dybala coming in would add another dimension.
"Liverpool should go for him because he is capable of playing across the front line and he would be a great option as a false nine. He would be phenomenal in that Firmino role."
