Borussia Dortmund set Erling Haaland price

Borussia Dortmund have unleashed their asking price for Europe's in-demand Erling Haaland

The Bundesliga giants are braced to lose the Norway international next year with Europe's elite queuing up to activate the £65million asking price in his current deal.

With finances tight at the Signal Iduna Park, there have been suggestions Dortmund could cash in on Haaland this summer for a higher fee as the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Real ready to battle for his signature.

But Dortmund are intent on keeping the 20-year-old for at least another campaign and are demanding more than double his release clause fee to let him go at the end of this season.

As reports ESPN, the club want £154million to allow Haaland to depart a year early in a stance designed to ward off potential bidders.

It's a tactic which would see Dortmund lose out financially in the long run but club chiefs are hopeful of mounting a title challenge in 2021/22 with Haaland spearheading their attack.
