The Liverpool defender has spent much of the last two months in Dubai at the world-renowned NAS Complex
The defender has spent much of the past couple of months in Dubai training at the Nad al Sheba Complex.
After suffering anterior cruciate ligament damage during the 2-2 draw with Everton in mid-October, Van Dijk underwent surgery in London later that month.
He was then given his first real glimpse of the club's new AXA Training Centre in early December when he was put through his paces with a light gym session.
Van Dijk settled in Dubai later that month as he stepped up his recovery through the use of the world-class facilities on offer at the NAS Complex.
Yoga sessions, exercise bikes and strength and conditioning workouts all formed part of the routine for the former Southampton star.
The Netherlands captain had also been working with a ball out in the Middle East during individual sessions at the world-renowned NAS.
That was until a few days ago when Van Dijk flew back to step up his recovery further at Liverpool's £50m training base in Kirkby .
He is now in the process of furthering his rehabilitation with club staff as he aims to get back on the pitch as quickly as possible.
